With the Club since 1996, Bob has been Coach of all the B.U.C.S.C Senior teams up to current date.

Having held the positions on the Committee as President, Vice President and General Committee, for the last 5 years he has been in the position as Director of Coaching of the Club.

Bob was in 2003, appointed Life Member of B.U.C.S.A & the S.C.C.S.A, still a feat to this day that has not been matched in Churches Soccer history!!

Bob began his career in Kiama N.S.W, as a 14yr old Referee (The youngest in NSW Soccer Federation History), to gain a full soccer certificate.

Upon his move to Canberra in 1979, he joined the Harmony Germany Club as a Semi Professional Player.

The rest, as they say is history, with Bob having Coached a number of children at B.U.C.S.C, some of which, have not needed an assessment by a mental health expert after going through the process!!

Bob is the current Director of Coaching of B.U.C.S.C, and in his 11th year, continues to enjoy Coaching children, talking at schools, and as they used to say on the TV show "The A-Team", a mad fool.

In our 21st Year, we might find it in our hearts to shout him a drink, but we know his satisfaction comes out of seeing "kids" enjoy "The World" Game", first and foremost.

CONGRATULATION TO OUR LIFE MEMBERS.

(P.S) Don't try to give Bob a hug!! A Pit Bull is a better candidate!!!!!

 Robert (Bob) John Taylor:

This "veteran", has had an amazing Football experience!!

It all began back in England in 1928, before John emigrated to Australia in 1949.

He has had an Army background, and in 60's, was appointed a Life Member of Redland Bay Soccer Club in Brisbane as a mark of appreciation.

John has also been a Coach in Kingaroy, and joined B.U.C.S.C 12 years ago, to assist his Grandson Mitch.

While his contribution as a Coach are without a doubt, he continues on despite having no further family connection to the Club.

John, (Sorry Mate), is 78 years young this year, and was awarded Life Membership of B.U.C.S.C in 2003, in clear recognition of is outstanding service as a Coach to the Club.

John has also held the distinction of being a Representative Coach of  the S.C.C.S.A, which I know, was a great moment for him with the Rep children.

This year in our 21st Year, just go up and give the "old bugger" a hug, as show of 11 years service to the "Blue and White Army" of B.U.C.S.C.

Thank you John, as a leader and role model from the "old school", there will never be words to express our gratitude.

Mr. John Downie. (Pop)

Born and breed on the Sunshine Coast in 1964 Mark has always been involved in team sport. In 1975 he was playing Rugby league for Maroochydore in the under 11s. He played rep for the Coast playing fullback till he was 15.

Mark was also involved in surfing as well (to many names to mention) some great names boys ( sorry Kong) Its all sport to Mark.

In 1983 Mark was playing touch footy with his mates and also played rep for the Coast. He played for the next 20 years.

In 1997 his son  wanted to play soccer  well what do we do there ( get in and help) Marks wife Jo said were here and to help make our club stronger .

In 2003 Marks wife Jo joined the committee as well as Mark in the years to come this husband and wife team have helped in many ways to help children reach their goals.

The churches soccer  is a Passion to Mark he enjoys seeing children  play the world game and to have lots of fun as well.

In 2007 Mark joined the Sccsa as a photographer and takes most of the photos for the Sccsa.

Since 1997  Mark has seen lots of changes in the Bucsc from a club to have no home grounds to a permanent home ground at Fishermans Road .

Mark has seen many highlights  since being involved in our club including seeing his both children playing in grand finals to seeing his son play rep for the Sunshine Coast.

In 2006 his son played at the National titles at Mooloolah.

But one moment that Mark savors the most is seeing two Buderim players playing for QLD at Buderim at the National Titles in 2008.

Thanks for your help Mark.

Well done to all our life members.

Mr. Mark McCudden
In 1997 Damian her son came home from school with a note saying he wanted play  soccer after a school parade.

That year was a great one for her and her family and the dream began. In 1998 she was the manager of her sons side the Bulls.

Many years passed as she kept on as the manager of both her children's Teams and she done this with a family as well.

Jo has done some amazing things in her life but the challenge was still to come as she took on the secretaries job in 2003.

Since that moment in her life she has taken on the job to become the hub of our great club there are not to many children in the Buderim community that don't know Jo.

Jo is not just a club person she is what you would call a legend in our club. She spends that much time to keep the Buderim Club what it is today.

As a lot of people don't know Jo is team Buderim as she has guided our teams around the parks for years . Her job has not been a easy one in more ways than one. But the true spirit she has shown towards our club is amazing.

In the ten years that Jo has enjoyed in this great club she has always gave her best and im proud to be part of this great woman's life.

Thank you Jo   Life Member
